Clive Davis Back Home Following Recent Hospitalisation

Music mogul Clive Davis is back home recuperating after spending almost a week in the hospital.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

Music industry legend Clive Davis has returned home after spending several days in hospital recovering from a recent health issue.

The 94 year old record executive was discharged from a New York City hospital on Thursday and will continue recovering at home. His release came nearly a week after he was admitted on Friday, May 29.

Sharing an update on his condition, a representative told People and TMZ, "Clive was discharged from the hospital earlier today. He is in good spirits and happy to be recuperating at home."

TMZ reported that Davis had been treated for an upper respiratory infection. At the time of his admission, his spokesperson explained that the hospital stay was a precautionary measure and that doctors expected him to recover quickly.

The veteran music executive has dealt with health concerns before. In 2021, he was forced to postpone his well known annual pre Grammys event after being diagnosed with Bell's palsy, a neurological condition that can cause weakness or temporary paralysis on one side of the face.

Davis is widely recognised for helping launch the careers of artists such as Whitney Houston and Barry Manilow. He was portrayed by Stanley Tucci in the 2022 biographical film Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody. Throughout his career, he also signed and supported future superstars including Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd and Earth, Wind and Fire.

The founder of Arista Records has earned five Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 in the non performer category.
