Karol G, Rosalia, Jorge Drexler and Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso have each received seven nominations at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards.
All four artists are competing across the ceremony’s three leading categories, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
When producers and songwriters who do not perform are included, regular hitmaker Edgar Barrera leads the entire field with 10 nominations.
Karol G, who became the first Latina performer to headline Coachella earlier this year, is nominated for both Record and Song of the Year with ‘Coleccionando Heridas’. Rosalia’s ‘La Perla’ will compete in those same categories.
“We are honoured to present this year’s nominees for the 27th Annual Latin Grammy Awards,” Manuel Abud, CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, said in a statement released on Wednesday.
“These artists reflect the extraordinary diversity and constant evolution of Latin music, and our Academy continues to evolve in response to this dynamic, creative landscape. At the heart of our Awards Process are our members, whose participation and expertise ensure that the Latin Grammy remains the benchmark for excellence in Latin music.”
Billboard highlighted Romeo Santos and Prince Royce’s Better Late Than Never as one of this year’s most surprising omissions. Despite debuting at Number One on the Tropical Albums chart and Number Two on Top Latin Albums, the project failed to secure any nominations.
Voting opens on 1 October, while the ceremony will be held in Las Vegas on 12 November.
