Johnny and Lillie Flynn have shared plans for Beam Cottage, an album recorded together by the siblings and arriving through Transgressive Records on 6 November 2026.
Charlie Andrew, whose credits include Alt-J, Marika Hackman, and London Grammar, produced the 14 songs. The collection brings together new writing, fresh duet versions of songs from Johnny’s catalogue, and favourites the pair sang while growing up. Accompanying the news is the opening song, "The Music Of The Spheres," written by Johnny and featuring Joe Harvey Whyte on pedal steel.
Beam Cottage takes its name from the thatched Hampshire home where Johnny and Lillie lived as young children. Alongside interpretations of songs by Paul Simon, Hank Williams, Billy Bragg, and Johnny Mercer, the album includes "Sleepy Head," a lullaby their late father, actor and musician Eric Flynn, wrote and first performed.
"Beam Cottage was home to Johnny and Lillie Flynn when they were children," reads the announcement. "The years at Beam Cottage feel like an idyll of happiness and togetherness before life began to feel more complicated and we were separated from each other."
South African vocal group The Joy join the siblings on the single "The Ghost Of O'Donahue," while musicians from their longtime backing group, the River Band, also contribute. Lillie takes lead vocals on the new song "Brockwell Park" and their rendition of the traditional blues folk arrangement "Tell Old Bill."
The siblings will mark the album’s arrival with a launch concert at London’s Royal Festival Hall on 21 November 2026, which has already sold out. Strong demand has prompted another headline date in the capital, at Union Chapel on 14 December 2026. General ticket sales for that show begin on 11 September.
