Meghan Trainor, Adam Lambert & More Join as Judges for E!'s 'Clash of the Cover Bands'

As E! prepares to give viewers some new covers of their favorite songs, Meghan Trainor, Adam Lambert and Ester Dean are ready to help pick the best of the best performers.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

On Monday (May 17), E! announced that Trainor, Lambert and Dean would join their upcoming series Clash of the Cover Bands, a new reality competition show in which different cover bands will compete head to head for a cash prize. Stephen "tWitch" Boss, the DJ for the soon-to-end Ellen DeGeneres Show, will serve as the host for the new show.

Clash of the Cover Bands, which will be executive produced by Jimmy Fallon and Electric Hot Dog, is set to premiere later this year on E! The show will follow two bands of a "similar musical genre" as they perform in a two-round performance showdown to determine which cover is better. Meghan Trainor also said during NBC's upfront presentation that the competing bands could win $10,000, and that fans will get to vote on which cover band gets to perform on The Tonight Show at the end of the season.

Each of the guest judges on the series have notably been involved with singing competitions in the past. Trainor served as a celebrity judge on Fox's The Four, Lambert first rose to fame as the runner-up of American Idol season 8, and Dean served as a producer and host on NBC's Songland.
