Gracie Abrams is leading this week’s UK Official Albums Chart Update with her third studio album, Daughter From Hell. The American singer and songwriter currently occupies the midweek top spot and could secure her second UK Number 1 record. Her latest release follows The Secret Of Us, which topped the chart in 2024, while her 2023 debut album Good Riddance previously climbed to Number 3.
Leeds indie group Yard Act are heading toward their third straight Top 5 album as You’re Gonna Need A Little Music holds Number 5. The record follows their 2022 debut The Overload and 2024 release Where’s My Utopia?. Bradford producer and vocalist Nia Archives could also achieve her strongest chart result so far with her second studio album, Emotional Junglist. Currently placed at Number 7, the project is on track to become her first Official Top 10 entry and outperform her 2024 debut Silence Is Loud.
New Order begin the week close to the Top 10, with their career collection The Best Of & The Rest Of entering the update at Number 11. Remaining in that position would give the Manchester legends their 18th Official Top 40 album. Pennsylvania metalcore band Motionless In White could reach a new career milestone as Decades sits at Number 15 and may become their first UK Top 40 release. Liverpool metal group Loathe are chasing the same achievement with A Stranger To You currently positioned at Number 22.
Elsewhere, folk rock veterans The Waterboys could earn their 11th Top 40 album as Atlantic Rain holds Number 31. Brighton pop punk band As It Is are aiming for their third with their self titled release at Number 33. Bruno Mars has also received a notable chart lift as his tour reaches London’s Wembley Stadium today, with his 2010 debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans jumping 13 positions to Number 37.
